Hey, that is interesting. The management company loses money, and the city has to help make up the difference? Hmm.

I like how they seem to blame the decrease in music revenue on the artists' "demanding more money." From what I remember since the Pearl Jam independent-arena tour/Ticketmaster monopoly suit, that's not exactly the case. Alas, I can't point to specific references; I got a lot of the info from local music/rock critics.

Since the city owns the building, they have little choice. It's another example of publicly funded stadia being a bad idea.
